"Ladies, On your Wedding day, put your trust in your Wedding Planner and Venue Coordinator and let them do what they do best. By this time, you should be able to wake up, enjoy a nice breakfast, then head off for a day of beauty with the girls and a mimosa!! Your details are taken care of, your BEO’s are signed. Sit back and enjoy your day. If we have a question we know how to get a hold of you. You put a lot of thought and love into this day, we want you to thoroughly enjoy every minute of it until you can’t dance another step!! "

This Week we are featuring Erika Hill with

We LOVE working with Erika and her amazing team!
Here is some professional advice on Venue Selection... enjoy!
"Chances are if you are getting married than you have been planning your wedding since you were a little girl. This means you have pretty good idea on how you want your day to be.

You have thought of everything from the dress, to the shoes, to the hair, down to where you want the very last flower to go. But at the end of the day your venue is where all of this will take place.

That brings me to my point. Picking your venue is probably every brides first priority and then everything else falls into place. Every venue has its pros and cons and each individual bride needs to figure what they want most out of their venue. These are some questions to consider:
1.) Does the venue provide all the food and beverage or will you need to outsource a caterer?
2.) Does the venue have a pastry chef on property to make your wedding cake?
3.) Does the venue provide tables, chairs, dance floor, linens?
4.) Are there sleeping room accommodations on premise or lodging in the surrounding area?
5.) Is the catering team friendly and easy to work with? Do they make you feel comfortable? Are they knowledgeable?
6.) Are there any hidden fees or charges?
7.) Does the venue have a completely different space for a ceremony location?
8.) What is the cancellation policy?

Knowing what you are looking for and what to ask will ensure that your wedding day is a huge success for you and your guests."

Pro Tip Thursday

Welcome to
Pro Tip Thursday
This Week we are featuring the Amazing...
with professional advice on: Hiring a Videographer

"First: I can not tell you how many times I hear - I wish I had my wedding recorded, its the one regret. Even if cinematography is not in the budget, look into it. How else are you going to hear your vows or the wedding blessings from grandma who will not be around much longer. Lots of people do not like to be on camera, but with the right artist you don't even know they are there recording you.

Second, know your artist. When planning for a wedding or any event for that matter, the vendors you choose need to see your vision. You need to be able to connect with them. Honestly on the wedding day, your cinematographer and photographer are with you the most. If you click with them professionaly by falling in love with their movies and connect with their personality - book them!"
