Photog Advice

Here is some great Photography Advice
that we wanted to share with you...
To some couples, hiring a photographer may be the most important decision they make during the process of planning their big day! Finding and hiring a professional photographer is a sizable investment, not only in money, but in time as well.

By doing your research and hiring a professional that suits your style, you can rest assured that he or she is going to capture your day exactly how you want. But achieving the best possible results does not end with the signing of the contract. Below are a few simple things you can do as a client before and on your wedding day to help you and your photographer capture the photographs of your dreams.

  1. Develop a personal relationship with your photographer. By the time your wedding day arrives, you should consider your photographer a friend, not just another vendor.
  2. Make a shot list. This will eliminate any regret after Aunt Sue has left town and won’t be back for another 5 years, but you never got your picture taken with her.
  3. Be yourself. Pay special attention to your hands, they are a good indication of how tense you really are. Relax your hands and the rest of you will follow. Don’t rush your wedding day. When planning the schedule of the day, allot a realistic amount of time for each separate event. Pace your day and cherish every moment, it is, after all, a once in a lifetime experience (hopefully).
  4. Enjoy your wedding day. This is where a professional coordinator can help! Whether you choose someone to walk you through the whole planning process, or just to be there day-of, it is crucial to your sanity to have someone you can trust will take care of everything.
