Meet the Team - Allison Loper {Associate Coordinator}

We are excited for you to meet
Allison Loper
{Associate Coordinator}

Allison started with Confetti Events as an intern in
2013 and was promoted to Associate Coordinator
in August! Learn more about Allison below!

How did you get started with Confetti Events?

My husband is a videographer for Voila Cinematic and at one of his weddings he worked with Confetti Events! Of course, being the sweet husband he is, he talked to one of the coordinators about me and how I wanted to be in the event planning industry. After speaking with her, he told me he could see me fitting in well with these professional and sweet group of women. So when he told me the name of the company, I recognized it and realized I knew someone there...Nicole Voute! I immediately messaged her and she was able to get me connected. The rest is history :).

What is your favorite part about event planning?

Being able to get to know the couple and work with them throughout the process. Then, of course, being able to see them throughout their wedding day looking so relaxed and happy and enjoying their special day worry free.

What are 5 things you couldn't do your job without?
Comfortable shoe - I learned this early on!
Emergency kit - you never know what's coming.
E-mail - my lifeline
Phone - obvious reasons
Timeline- help to keep us running like a well oiled machine!

What is your most memorable event?

Probably one of my most memorable Confetti weddings was one of the hardest. The wedding was being held at a private estate in Clearwater and I was just an intern at the time. The wedding was almost all DIY which meant we had a lot to do! Then came the rain. It stated to down pour just before the ceremony. It was rough, but myself and the Confetti Team made it work and it turned out beautifully!

What is your personal style?
I would say I'm a mix of a few things... Vintage, classy, preppy, girly, and romantic.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing that I could be there for a bride and groom so that they didn't ever have to worry about a thing. Seeing them enjoying their wedding they worked so hard to put together instead of worrying about running it.
